Welcome to CrossFit Excess's first team competition! I'm teaming up with my good friend, Heather McCormick to bring you another exciting event! If you heard about or competed in the event we planned this past February, then you know what to expect. We have programmed fun and creative WODs that will test you and your team in many areas. We will push your limits right to the edge and then back off. Once again, we will be running all the workouts back-to-back and they will test your entire team as a whole.
By paying for your entry, you will receive a well organized event that runs on time, has solid judging, and of course a bad ass t-shirt designed by our newest local t-shirt company, BarLife! We hold ourselves to a high standard when organizing an event becasue we want the best atmosphere for our competitors!
In the past, I know I did not pay entry into a competition for the prizes at the end. Although we will offer such, we want to make it more than that. When competing, we pay for an experience to share with our teammates and fellow competitors. We pay to go to battle with them so you will have memories to share. We pay to have one hell of a time and that's what WE will give to YOU!
We will have the grill going with fresh hamburgers bought from our local meat market. We're going to have homemade guacamole to throw on top of your burgers if you
choose. We will also have Columbus's own Formula o2 on site with their new delicious energy drinks for sale! 3-2-1 Wraps will be on station to deliver the best wrist wraps in the game!
There will be two divisions:
-Scaled (Morning session/First Heat @ 8:15am-12:40pm (tentative)
-Rx (Afternoon session/First Heat @ 1:15pm-5:45pm (tentative)
2 Men/ 2 Women Teams
Capped at 18 teams for each Division

Front Squat (135/95)
Back Squat (135/95)
Full Snatch (135/95)
Hang Power Snatch(115/75)
Bar/Ring Muscle-Up (One Person)

HSPU (15# plate under AB Mat with no plates on the side)(1 person)
Double Unders (1 person)
Front Squat (95/65)
Back Squat (95/65)
Full Snatch (95/65)
Hang Power Snatch(75/55)
Unmod Pull-Ups (One Person)
****We reserve the right to add movements to this list, but they would fall under the weight limits shown. We will not add a Major Skill to the list (ie Pistols or a no-handed HSPU;) We may use everything on this list or some of it.
****The Scaled is meant for scaled athletes. Don't be that team that should have went Rx and Sandbagged the scaled division please****
