Grab your friends, neighbors, squatting buddies, mom, daughter, maybe even grandma! This ladies only 3 person team competition is for all ladies ages 12 and up who are willing to step out of their comfort zone and show how beautiful strong is by doingwhat at one time they never thought possible. It is designed for ladies who attend CrossFit classes regularly, cheer and support their friends at competitions, thought it looked like fun to compete, but they never thought they could do it. With a RX/Scaled combination division, Teen division, and our unique Mother/Daughter division, this competition is for everyone! While we love and are the biggest supporters of our regional type female athletes, this competition is not for you. But, we hope you will be in the front row cheering us on or volunteering. You are our inspiration!
NEW THIS YEAR - 3 person teams will battle through stations, all within a single hour!At least 1 member of the team MUST be a "scaled" athlete.
Fitness for All - This is a true team event so any athlete can perform any portion of the workout allowing various experience levels and abilities to compete together.At least 1 member of the team MUST be a "scaled" athlete.

40+ Gals & Pals-Samerequirements as above with the exception that all team members must be over the age of 40.

Teens-Samerequirements as above with the exception that all team members must be between the ages of 12 and18 (high school senior).

Mother/Daughter- 2 person team. This division is more about the experience of competing with your daughter and most importantly the priceless experience of competing together.Any movement can be scaled if either athlete can not perform it (1/2 point).

The below guideline list is to help you decipher between RX athletes and Scaled athletes. In all divisions, except Mother/Daughter, at least one athlete must be a "scaled" athlete. Your team will have complete control over who does what and when during your 60 minute competition time.
These movements DO NOT necessarily reflect the movements that will be in the BarBelle Throwdown TAKE 3 WODs.
RX: athlete satisfies at least 4 of the following criteria - can perform more than 2 consecutive unassisted pull ups - can deadlift more than 200lbs - can run a mile in less than 10 minutes - RX most WODs in class - proficient in all Olympic lifts and movements
SCALED: athlete satisfies at least 4 of the following criteria - less than 2 consecutive unassisted pull ups - 1 rep max deadlift is less than 200lbs - one mile run is over 10 min - use scaled weights for most WODS - CrossFitting less than 6 months - comfortable with all Olympic lifts and movements
