CrossFit San Jose brings you the 4th installment of our famous Frankenwod Throwdown. This year, Saturday Oct. 20th, will bring the challenge for same gender partners. We will guarantee 4 wods, great t-shirts and a great experience.

WOD 1

"Row Bear"

15 Min Clock
2,000m Row (SCORE 1 - FOR TIME)

**Athletes can break up 2,000m Row however they want.**

WITH REMAINING TIME in the 15 Minutes each Athlete will establish a Max Effort for the Bear Complex.

Bear Complex (SCORE 2 - TOTAL POUNDS LIFTED BETWEEN BOTH ATHLETES HEAVIEST LIFTS)

Ground to Shoulders (anyhow, i.e. muscle clean, power clean, squat clean, or split clean)
Front Squat
Shoulder to Overhead (anyhow, i.e. strict press, push press, push jerk, split jerk, or even squat jerk)
Back Squat
Shoulder to Overhead (anyhow, from the back rack position)

**Athletes CANNOT Thruster during any part of the complex. Each movement must be completed before initiating the next movement.**

**One Athlete works at a time on Barbell, only one Barbell per pair. CANNOT touch bar until Row is finished.**

WOD 3

"Don't Drop The Rock"

8 Min AMRAP (Leap Frog Style)
8 Single Arm KB Hip to OH (70/44) -------------------- Intermediate (53/35) ------- Scaled (44/26)
8 Single Arm KB Front Rack Lunge (same KB) ---- Intermediate (same KB) --- Scaled (same KB)
8 Burpee Box Over (30"/24") ---------------------------- Intermediate (24"/20") ----- Scaled (20"/18")

(SCORE 4 - TOTAL REPS)

**Only one athlete works at a time. Athletes will alternate each set for entire workout. From the start of the workout, once the KB is off the floor, the KB CANNOT touch the ground until the workout is over. KB must be held or used at all times by one of the athletes on the team. KB, during burpee box overs, must be held with ONE ARM in either a farmer style hold, front rack hold, or overhead hold.**

**If KB touches the floor at any point before the workout is over there will be an automatic and immediate penalty of x5 Burpee (normal chest to deck and jump clap overhead standard).**

WOD 4 (FLOATER - WILL HAVE SCHEDULED TIMES PRE-SET FOR COMPETITION DAY)

"Strongman Couplet"

1 Min AMRAP
Max Reps Stone to Shoulder @ 140/95 -- Intermediate/Scaled @ 120/75
1 Min AMMAP (5m = 1 Rep)
Max Distance Farmer Carry @ 100/70 --- Intermediate/Scaled @ 70/53

(SCORE 5 - TOTAL REPS)

**Both athletes work at the same time. One athlete starts on the stone and the other starts on the carry. At the end of the min both athletes will immediately switch stations and work for one more min. This workout will be 2 min total.**
