Oh snap, summer is right around the corner and what better way to kick off the season than with The 2nd Annual Summer Showdown 2018!!
Dust off those washboard abs and grab the booty shorts and get ready to have a blast with your crew!
For the last few months I've been planning this event in my head and wanted to go a different direction than our other two events which are team of 6 athletes.
We are mixing things up and going with a same sex, team of 3 competition, cannon ball format and I'm beyond pumped about this!!
We will have Scaled and Rx men's and women's teams which will be limited to 10 team slots per sex in Scaled and Rx.
As always, you can expect an event that's going to push your limits but not kill you...I think ?. We will require your team to work together as we like to find the best team and not just the best athlete on a team. Hoping to get a few of these WODs outside again this year as well.
I'm beyond pumped to program for a 3 person team because it opens up the box even more on things I can do:) Staying true to our events, it will be your everyday CF movements put in some "fun" combinations to extract the fitness right outa ya.

-This will be a team of 3 (same sex)
-ONLY 10 team slots per division
-Scaled Heat #1 will start around 8:00am
-Rx Heat #1 will start around 1:00pm
-WODs and full standard video walk throughs will be released 2 weeks prior to the event.

Front Squat (185/130)
Back Squat (185/130)
Power Snatch (135/95)
**Possible Scaled Movements and Weights: (these are the max weights that could be used and would be for reps)
HSPU (10# plate under AB Mat with no plates on the side)(At least 1 person)
Double Unders (At least 1 person)
Front Squat (135/95)
Back Squat (155/105)
Power Snatch (95/65)
Pull-Ups (one person)
****We reserve the right to add movements to this list, but they would fall under the weight limits shown. We will not add a Major Skill to the list (ie Muscle-Ups) We may use everything on this list or some of it.
****The Scaled is meant for SCALED athletes. Don't be that team that should have went Rx and Sandbagged the scaled division please****
***The Tie-Breaker WOD has been predetermined. If we have teams that are tied, the tie breakers will go into action. These tie breakers will be told to the team captains during the athlete briefing so you all know them ahead of time.
