The Redding Peace Officers' Association (RPOA) is hosting the first annual Never Forgotten Games, which is a fitness competition where 60 teams of 4 (240 athletes) will compete in 5 strength and endurance workouts. The workouts will be designed for 5 north state law enforcement officers that have been killed in the line of duty. Their families are going to be invited to the event for the unveiling of the workouts, which will be registered and forever attached to their name as a "Hero" workout. The goal is to raise money for local children and community charities, as well as NorCal Concerns Of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.). This is an organization that provides support and counseling for families where a spouse, parent or child has been killed in the line of duty.
