Welcome to the very first Female Totale Competition!
This is a women's only individual competition that will host 5 separate events throughout the day to give each athlete a total score. (Think the CrossFit Total). Athletes will be divided not by skill level, but by WEIGHT CLASS ONLY. The 5 events are divided amongst strength, speed, and gymnastic abilities to level the playing field for all skill levels.
The 4 weight classes are:
Class A. 120lbs or below
Class B. 121lbs - 145lbs
Class C. 146lbs - 170lbs
Class D. 171lbs and above
Weights for WOD's are designated by weight class:
Class A = 65# Thruster / 115# DL / 26# KB Swing / 75# STO / 75# Clean / Bodyweight Back Squat
Class B = 75# Thruster / 135# DL / 35# KB Swing / 85# STO / 95# Clean / Bodyweight Back Squat
Class C&D = 85# Thruster / 155# DL / 53# KB Swing / 95# STO / 105# Clean / Bodyweight Back Squat
Gymnastic Abilities -
Ideally all athletes have Pull Ups / Hand Stands / Double Unders
*if you do not, you can still absolutely participate. There are 5 events for this reason
All events will be posted 1 week prior to the competition on Saturday, March 3rd.
Sneak Peak into Events 1 & 2
8 Minute AMRAP
2 Deadlifts 115# / 135# / 155#
2 Box Jumps
*continue to ladder up reps by 2 each round 2/2, 4/4, 6/6...etc.
*score is total reps completed in 8 minutes
5 Minutes OTC
Clean & Jerk Weight x Reps = Total Score
*all athletes will choose what weight they will use for the entire 5 minutes
*weights must remain the same for the entirety of the work out (choose wisely!)
