Details

Fourth annual Barbell Rodeo and last of our three part series. Barbell 16.3 is located in Los Banos, CA at the city's Tomato Festival. This division is great for both Rx and Scaled athletes. A team consists of 2 Men and 2 Women. Each team will complete four events. Top five teams will be recognized and prizes will be given to top three teams.

Event 1

7:00 AMRAP

30 Double Unders (or 90 Single)

10 Plate Burpee Ground to Overhead 45/25

4 Wall Climbs (4' to 1' away from wall)

Notes: Feet must stay on wall from 4' start to 1' finish, back to 4' start, for 1 complete rep

Additional Team Notes: This event will be completed in teams of 2 (M/F). First team of M/F will have full 7:00 then remaining M/F will have full 7:00. Workout is completed leap frog style.


Event 2

7:00 AMRAP

5 Snatches 115/65

4 Snatches 135/75

3 Snatches 145/85

2 Snatches 155/95

MR Snatches 165/105

Notes: It is not necessary to finish this ladder to participate in a desired division. Athlete will start with barbell loaded to first weight. Once rep count is complete, Athlete will progress barbell forward, load second weight and complete rep count. Athlete will proceed until he/she hits max or finish with MR at final weight. ( ) weight is for Masters, Youth, and Team. Tiebreaker is when athlete finishes last rep at each weight.

Additional Team Notes: This event will be completed in teams of 2 (M/M) and (F/F). For teams, rep count will be increased to 10, 8, 6, 4, MR. Each (M/M) and (F/F) team will have 7:00 to work through the ladder then complete MR. Reps can be divided as needed. Both teammates do not need to participate in each weight.

Additional Team Notes: Each teammate will run 400m (relay style). Once 1600m is complete, (M/M) team, working together, will complete 30, 20, 10 rep sequence. (F/F) team will follow once (M/M) team finishes 10 OHS.

Notes: Men will complete the first round together working as a pair. Once complete, women will perform the second round together. Reps may be split up as desired. Only one partner may work at a time during the Farmer Carry. Both partners may carry and load the keg together.
